First Ave & McKinley · Downtown Phoenix
Legendary. Mezcals and memories.
A downtown Phoenix restaurant and lounge. Dinner nightly, and a night that keeps going.

Pablo grew up in Phoenix. He found the rest of himself in Mexico City, and found agave in Oaxaca. He came home and built this.
Every room keeps its own music, its own light, its own crowd. Nobody hands you a route.

A house built in 1952.Seven rooms announced. Two still shut.
A mood behind every door
Outside, under the sky. This is where the night starts and nobody is in a hurry.
↘︎The door. Downtown on one side. Pablo's on the other.
↘︎Open to the sky, built around a fire. When the night finds its rhythm it happens here.
↘︎Velvet and low light. The room where you look up to see who just walked in.
↘︎Low ceilings. Lower voices. One round has a way of turning into three.
↘︎Masks on the wall, a wager on the table. Everybody talks bigger in here.
↘︎A hallway that refuses to be only a hallway. Things start here.
↘︎There are other doors. We're not opening them yet.
A first look inside
Turn the house. Open a door.

No roof. A fire at the center. Everything else opens onto this.
The full map has more doors. We're keeping a few keys for later.

Come hungry
This is a restaurant first. Plates built for the middle of the table, and a kitchen that stays open as long as the room does.
The menu stays under wraps a while longer. The cocktail program is being built with Barter & Shake, the team behind Century Grand, Platform 18 and Undertow.

The parts we know
Phoenix raised him. Mexico City taught him. Oaxaca kept him.
